Heater box with factory flaw

I have this heater box on my truck and if you look carefully, you can see a stud attached to what looks like a wingnut actually formed in there. Never seen another one like it. Anybody else come across one?

The pic isn't the best quality.

Can you sharpen it up some? I think I can see what you are talking about, but not sure.

:)

Look in the lower left of the pic. The wingnut is facing towards the right, the stud (or bolt) to the left.

I'll take another pic soon.

:bowtie: :gmc:

I've seen em on a few trucks that I've restored. The ones that I have seen are 5/16-18 X 1" long allen head cap screws.:D
