Ride Height

I have a problem with my truck sitting lower on one side than the other. The drivers side sits about 3/4 of an inch lower than the ps. I have looked everything over and cannot figure out what is going on. I have all new springs. The frame does not seem to be tweaked any where. When the body was off I went over the frame to make sure it was sound and square. Could not find anything wrong with it. I do remember having to really pull the trac bar into place. Could the track bar cause it to be lower on the ds than the ps? The track bar on this 65 has a small bend in it which I thought was the way it was made. The front of the truck sits level itz only the rear that sits uneven.

Re: Ride Height

Did you buy lowering springs or stock height ones ?

I bought the stock springs. All four springs are new. I will say the rear are progressive springs

Are you sure you got all 4 sprigs seated right?

I have looked at that Andrew and I do believe they are seated properly. Now if they are off by an inch or so maybe. I will take another look at it.

How much have you driven it? They will seat and settle some with driving it. Also make sure the pad you have it on is true and measure to the frame on all four corners. Sheet metal and bumpers can make it look off more than it really is.

Re: Ride Height

Track/Panhard bar should not have a bend.

Re: Ride Height

I have put around 3000 miles on it. The thing is the bumper is at the same height from the top of the tail gate on both sides. I guess I should look into a new track bar.
