1965 c30 custom camper. anyone seen anything like this?

hey guys my great grandfather built this camper back in the 70s and it wasnt taken care of too well. Ive already started restoring it. got rid of the split rims. got the 292 inline 6 running like a champ. Attachment 1529105

My old neighbor had a camper just like that on a 67 GMC. That's all the truck ever did was haul the camper with a Honda Trail 90 strapped to the railing. He traveled the USA and stored the truck in the barn with the weight held up off the truck when not in use. Now I wonder if the truck is still there. Guy must be 90 and always a bachelor.
