03 2500hd muffler options

Well my stock muffler has seen better days, it rusted all out. There is a hole in the top abut 8 inches in diameter. I took the heat shield off and vacuumed it all out so it didn't rattle. I love the sound now, it is throaty yet not too drony, it is loud enough I can make my presence known, yet not too annoying. The only problem is is exhaust fumes drafting into the cab with the windows up. I carry a carbon monoxide detector now, and it has gone off before. I want the same sound I have now, but from an after market muffler.

What are you guys running? I have the 6.0 with factory stainless exhaust, my exhaust is 3" 2 into the muffler and 2 out. I would like to keep the stock tail pipe section, but if o can only get a 1 exit, I'll have another pipe made. Thank you guys for the help!

If you have two in two out you already have a aftermarket kit. Stock is dual 3.0 to muffler with single 3.5 out of muffler.
I went to Minekee muffler they had a few options of off brand mufflers that were half the price of the name brands. I've had it for close to 10 years now and its still working great.

Nope, I'm 100% sure this is original, I got the truck from my dad who got it new in 02. It was bone stock till I got it. I wonder if the stainless exhaust option is why it is a 2 in 2 out. I can get pics. I know it's factory though. It still had the original tires on it, he never changed anything.

I will have to look around more because it doesn't seem like people are modifying gassers much.
