Firewall holes
What are you all doing to plug holes in the firewall? Where can you get a variety of plugs?
Thanks Also what covers this hole? Under the Wheelhouse. http://i1262.photobucket.com/albums/...pssmujjvdt.jpg |

This is what goes there. They are a 7/16" bolt, 1-3/4 inches long, with a 2-1/4" integral washer on it. LockDoc . |

The shims are almost a 1/4 inch thick. LockDoc |
Re: Firewall holes
I see this is a old post, I have these shims and was wondering where they go!
Thanks Steve |

- Sometimes they fall out when disassembling the front clip and people have a hard time figuring out where they came from..... Not every truck has them and there will usually be a different number of them side to side. Here is a picture of where the bolts with the large washer go. The "F" shims go between the inner panel and this cab support rail. The shims are made that way so you can start the bolt, then hook the shims over the bolt and they won't fall out while you are tightening the bolt.. The inner panel has a good size square hole in this location. LockDoc |

So right here?
Sorry the last post was supposed to be a question mark not a exclamation point. Steve |
