Short fleet bed
I just noticed on Amazon that Auto metal direct is selling Tri plus short fleet bedsides for $349.00 each side , looks like a pretty good price ? :chevy:

Re: Short fleet bed
Sounds like a good deal to me. Do you have a link? All I could find on Amazon is 67 style for $429 and the 68-72 for $549

This is all I could find on their site.... http://www.carid.com/1968-chevy-ck-p...-40734227.html It won't post the direct link so you will have to click on "Product Options" and go through the click downs.... LockDoc |
Re: Short fleet bed
Wow that's a good deal.
|
Re: Short fleet bed
I ordered a set before that price disappears $349.36 per side + shipping ,best deal I've ever seen anywhere . I'll bet this deal is gone soon but CARiD has some great prices .:chevy:
|
Re: Short fleet bed
I just looked and it said $430.86 Glad y'all got a deal. Jim

Re: Short fleet bed
You have to click on product options to customize what style you want. I just checked again and the price is still showing me $349
|
Re: Short fleet bed
I don't really need a set but at that price I had to get some. Just ordered mine as well.

Re: Short fleet bed

Re: Short fleet bed
I found it by searching 67-72 c10 lowering kit and the ad showed up on the bottom of the page . Go to CARiD.com and search 40733937 and type in the product options .

Re: Short fleet bed
I find the '67 SWB fleetsides are $354 but the 69-72 ones are $430.
|
Re: Short fleet bed
Wow.... it was a little over $700 (I would actually need the 67's) and when I did a mock check out it said free shipping???
Damn this is tempting... but I'm repairing a set of originals. |

Re: Short fleet bed
All I see listed are the 67 type with no side marker provisions for the $349.36 price. The ones shown with the side marker provisions are $430.86 each.

Re: Short fleet bed
Would love to get a pair w/side marker cut outs @ 350ea....
|
Re: Short fleet bed
Since the 67's only cover one year (unless you don't want markers) it's probably a much smaller market. Someone made a big run of the 67 bedsides and now there's a large supply, so the price dropped to move some inventory (all just my guess on the pricing.)
Jegs did something similar with crate engines a couple years ago. They needed to move a lot of inventory so they dropped the price to around $1,200 shipped. They sold something like 300 motors in 2 or 3 days. |
Re: Short fleet bed
Anyone that ordered these did you get them yet ? I just checked on my order and the drivers side is ready to ship but the passengers are still back ordered and since shipping was only $99.00 they won't split the delivery . :smoke:
Ah the joys of owning one year optioned trucks ! |
Re: Short fleet bed
Have not received mine yet either
|
Re: Short fleet bed
That blows my theory of the cheap price because of inventory...
