Replacement Carpet

The carpeting in my 89 K1500 is in really rough shape and I want to replace it. I did this previously in my 71 and wasn't too happy with the fit. Can anyone recommend a good supplier of replacement carpets (that fit right)?

That's exactly where I was looking. They have what I need, but before pulling the trigger, I wanted to hear back from others who have done this and see if they have any recommendations about who sells good (proper fitting) carpet.

Get ACC brand. Fits like a glove in everything I put it in. They are available from quite a few vendors.

I prefer stockinteriors.com

New foil backed Jute or foil backed Sound mat and foil backed Jute will make a big difference in noise and heat in the cab. It also affects the look and feel of your finished carpet install.

I usually attach the new Jute to the floor in at least four pieces. 1 & 2 the floor wells and up the firewall, 3 the transmission hump, & 4 the doghouse. 3M Super 77 works fairly well to keep the new Jute from sliding around under the carpet and the foil keeps the Jute from getting chewed up by the burlap carpet backing.
