1965 GMC dana44 rear axle seal dilemma.

My buddy's trying to seal a leak on his rear diff. It has a leather seal for the axle shaft? He cleaned the seals 10+ years ago and it was fine till now. Is there not a non leather seal available for it?
RockAuto lists a USA30201
Is there another manufacturer like CR Seals or Timken?

Old seal number? pics? dimensions? 1/2 ton or 3/4? .... Dana 44 im guessing 1/2 T
