alum slotted wheel identification

I am trying to identify the manufacturer of some 8 lug aluminum slotted wheels. On the rims I can find the following:
Do not exceed 60 psi. Max wheel load 2200 lbs. AHI/M.P.C. DOT-T. 16.5X9.75. MOLD 1

Any ideas? I thought the AHI/MPC might mean something but I cannot find anything on the web. I will post a link to a pic in a minute.

Mickey Thompson, Ansen and E/T used to make slot mags like that.

more than likely there the cheeper knockoff if they don't have WESTERN WHEEL cast in the back side of other name brand .

I have had the cheeper and didn't like the quality of them .

both my sets are true WESTERN WHEEL rims.

I've run slots since the '70s and I couldn't tell most from one another. These you show are the most common design sold by many brands. It may be that some jobber made the wheels and they actually are no different from one another. American Racing made the last set I bought new that I had on my '71 Custom Camper I show on this site from time to times. I've seen Carroll Shelby branded wheels just like these, too. I have a set now on my '72 K2500. You don't want to know what I paid for those.

The 2200 lb rating seems a little weak to me. The truck at full GVW rating or more will put the wheels at the max rating. I'm pretty sure my aluminum wheels are rated at 3200 lbs and I thought that was kinda standard for 8 lug wheels. I'm sure they will be perfectly fine though, and aluminum slots always look good to me.

Like most rims one company will make it and a ton will copy it with knock offs,Best thing to do is take the wheel off and look for a brand or markings on the rim.
