1982 c-60 brake upgrade help

I am working on a 1982 c-60 style truck .

its got man master single line on firewall. then vac/ master under cab . drum/drum brakes .

I would like to make it safer and work better with a 2 line master and hydroboost .

anyone with pointers on how to do this while I search here in my free time.

Check out my build in my signature line. My 89 donor truck has 4 wheel disk with hydrobosst. Considering how easily parts swap on to the 68 I would think that 89 back to 82 wouldn't be a problem. I believe that Chevy motor homes had a lot of the same parts.

I am more use to 1ton hydroboost stuff and disk/drum master .

the truck I am working on had drum/drum .

could I use a extra hydroboost from a 1ton and a specific master to fit it and do drum/drum brakes. ?

I think with enough fabrication it would probably work, however the hydro boost unit from the medium duty truck is considerably larger and has a backup electric pump in case of p/s pump failure. I like the extra safety factor. I'll try to get one pictures this weekend.
