Hood release ?

I've just fitted a billet stainless front grill to my 71 c10,it came from Lmc ,they also give you a t-bar that you bolt on to the hood release attachment to open the hood, the only way you can open the hood is to lie on your back and get under the front end , not ideal really,is there any companies that sell an electric opening kit? Probably some kind of poppers? Or has anyone have any other ideas? Regards tony

My '72 has a piece of threaded rod that hangs down even with the bottom of the bumper, to pull forward on. It works OK since I greased the latch up good.

Maybe in the FAQ's or maybe someone has a link, there was a thread about putting an in cab hood release. That might be an option (if you can find the thread).
