71 C20 street/strip build?
 

Hello, im new to 67 to 72 chevy pickups and was wondering if anyone has built a c20 street/strip truck? I have seen a 71 c20 in my area for sale for cheap but i dont know how well you can build a c20 for speed with its heavy duty rear end, heavier weight and wheel choices since its an 8 lug. Im wondering if i should hold out for a c10 or get the c20? and what problem areas should i look at when purchasing one of these trucks since rust can be an issue in my area. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
