1981-87 quarts clock complete!
 

I've tested this clock and it works great-includes the plastic lense grommet and the correct uncut leads as well as the metal clip that also secures the white door jamb wire too! This is a complete working clock setup from an 83 Silverado originally. $55 shipped for what you see here! Thanks!

It will work in your 78 if you have a clock option vs a brake light but, the adjustment knob is in a different spot so you would need an 81-up plastic lense with the correct hole or you can drill one. Also, the 81-up font style differed from 78 slightly.
