Bumper & lights

After this year on the Hot Rod Power Tour the front bumper was nicked pretty good and I couldn't stand it. So I sent it off to be repainted.
I got it back this afternoon and just finished putting back on. I installed some new LED driving lights also in the openings. Not sure if I will keep them though. I love the lights but don't like the look of them in the round opening.
The pictures with just the driving lights on no head lights! The last picture looks as though the head lights are on but they are not.
;)

I have to say I agree with you, love the great lighting but not to fond of the square light round hole look. Do they not have a round one available out there that will fit in that hole ? Love the bumper color though :chevy:

Well I ordered the lights for the 20" bar to install on my golf cart. That thing is awesome and it lights up the road nice. Wasn't even thinking about the smaller lights at the time. I just figured for the money it was a good deal. $59.00 and free shipping!

I may try and find some but not seeing anything yet that will fit the opening I have.

Maybe try them behind the grille?

Not a option. I'll run them as is for now until I find some round ones I guess.;)

What about some sort of round lens to put in the bumper hiding the square led lights? It probably would not decrease the lighting that much if at all. Just a thought

I thought about taking them a part and seeing if I can mount them in my old round ones but hate to do it to find out they want fit.
Even thought about cutting a piece of plastic to cover them up to look like they are round.
The round lens is a idea though thanks!

Yeah, those are perfect for blinding oncoming traffic.

Not when you aim them right!
I drove it for about 30 minutes last night with just them on and nobody flashed their lights at me.

LOL. They were too blinded to find their dimmer switch. J/K. I like them. I'm a real fan of LED lighting.

The pictures where before I aimed them sitting out in front of the house.
The ones out of the cab where while I was driving it.

I found my driving lights in a mid-2000s Pontiac GranPrix, I think. They're not LED, but are halogen, and when installed, the lens faces will be inline with the bumper, both top to bottom and side to side. I should have them installed next week, so I can post some pics.
BTW. What type of hole saw did you use? I'm wondering if the "bi-metal" type at the hardware store will cut through a bumper?

I didn't cut them. I had a friend who does hot rods do it for me.:chevy:

Went to Lowes and bought 2 4" rubber caps with clamps. I cut the end of them for the lights to come through. Clamped the rubber onto the 4" pipe behind the bumper.
Can't tell a lot of difference in the pictures but I can in person.

These are on the way to me per E bay!
Will see how they compare to the others. They should look better but not sure about the light out put.
9 compared to 6 LED should be fine I hope.
