69 CST interior door panels
I need to know if all the interior door panels were screwed to the door on the bottom. I've seen lots of them for sale and noticed they have four screw holes at the bottom. My door panels are original with the original doors. Mine do NOT have the holes and my doors aren't drilled either. Yet my panels fit snug to the door by the arm rests and the handles and the chrome trim at the top. My panels have the vinyl scroll pattern bonded to what looks like a plastic panel. Does anyone else have this set-up?

72 is the only year they were not screwed to the door, but there would still be holes in the door for the "Christmas tree" fasteners. Need pics!

Re: 69 CST interior door panels
I've had several original CST trucks and mine have always been screwed down at the bottom. 1/4-20 " Phillips head screws.
I purchased aftermarket ones, they do not have the holes in the bottom. You have to drill them on installation. |

Re: 69 CST interior door panels
The 72 door panel are an animal unto itself , longer shafts on the window and door handle and the panels do have plastic fasteners . The only way to really determine what you have is to pull the panel and look at the backside . Nice truck by the way ,love the color .

Re: 69 CST interior door panels
Look like aftermarket door panels. Originals would have the 4 screws across the bottom.
