Wanted 15x14 wheel cheap!!!!!!

I am looking for (1) 15 x 14 wheel with a 5x5 bolt pattern. Wheel does not have to be in great shape. It just needs to hold air and not be bent up. I am needing it to mount a tire and fiqure backspacing for my project. Thanks!!

Phantom, when I bought my 15x14's from a place called ralley america many years ago, they shipped one wheel to me w/the center just pressed into place & not welded. You might try & contact whatever wheel co your thinking of going w/& see if they offer a similar service. It was worth the small extra fees + shipping because I could adjust the b.space exactly where I wanted + ensure everything fit..... then I shipped it back w/the proper b.spacing, they trued it & welded it in then did another to match.

Might be worth inquiring.

I know that Colorado customs does do this but I am going with billet specialties mainly because they are priced alot better. I will contact them to see whats up and if they will do this for me. Thanks

GOOD LUCK!!!! Those freaking idiots screwed up on my wheels, and admitted they were wrong. But guess what? Since the shop had already mounted them, they refused to do anything about it.

You might see them doing that to some po-dunk tire shop, but these came from Discount Tire. You know them don't ya? They are the ones that order "thousands" of dollars worth of wheels from Billet Specialties each year.

Too bad, so sad, but you mounted them, so we don't have to fix our f-up...

That sux azz!! So what did they screw up??

When we made the order, it was for 3 sets of wheels. On two sets, we wanted the valve stem holes drilled to the inside. The store manager called the order, then faxed all the details, then called to verify that they understood exactly what we wanted.

When they arrived, the store manager forgot that 2 of the sets were supposed to be drilled on the inside, and mounted all of them up. When he delivered them to the shop where my truck was at, it was discovered they were wrong.

He called Billet Specialties, and they told him they would build another set, and he could ship the old set back, since it was Billet Specialties mistake, and he had the order documented.

When they found out he had mounted them already, they changed their tune, and refused to make good. The store manager had another set made for me. He is had to sell the other set at cost, just to get them off his books....

That really bites. I am glad you posted about this though because when I run the 15x14 in the rear the valve stem will have to be on the outside to miss the disc.
