Hey all. New guy here, been looking for a '67-'72 for years and finally decided to pull the trigger on one. It's a '68 GMC C2500 that had a full frame-off resto to the tune of $35k in the early 2000s and has barely been used since.

It's on the transporter now, should be delivered tomorrow. I'm pretty pumped! This one was a bit more $$$ than I planned on spending but it already had a lot of the "stuff" done to it that I wanted - front disc brakes, Vintage air, auto trans swap. The original 396 was rebuilt by Larry's Engine in Tucson and is barely broken in.

Not much left to be done with this one but I do plan on having the original steering wheel restored and maybe putting in a set of aux tanks to give it some range. The tires were installed back in '05 when the resto was completed so they're probably due for replacement too.

I'm sure I'll have tons of questions but for now I figured I'd just say hello and post a few pics!

Oh, and if my buddy Perry is around - I'll come take you for a ride when it shows up. :D

Thanks all. It got here today and I'm real pleased with it. The guy I bought it from didn't build it, and frankly didn't know all that much about it for someone who owned it almost 10 years. So I got a bunch of answers to questions he couldn't answer. It has:

- Apparently the original 396 w/ Quadrajet
- Hooker headers into a dual Magnaflow exhaust. It sounds plain mean!
- Looks to be an aftermarket tilt column - Ididit, maybe?
- Aftermarket power steering setup
- TH400 trans
- 3.54 "power lock" rear axle as original
- 16" Centerline aluminum wheels

The tires are indeed dry rotted like crazy, but I expected that. It has some creaks and squeaks that need to be tracked down and the speedo is laughably incorrect, so I've got a bit of work to do.

Should be fun!
