78 vs 81 steering columns

Whats up brothers...i have a 81 silverado with a regular column shift..im looking to make it a floor shift and im looking for a non-shift column.. Aftermarket only goes to 78 will that work in my 81?

78-83 are the "older" style column with dash wipers. Any of these years should work. 84+ have the integrated wipers on the turn signal stalk.
