Bolt sizes and thread pitch list for body panels 1966 C10
 

Hi. Just wondering if anyone knows where to find a list of bolt sizes and thread pitch that are used on 1964 - 1966 Chevy C10 Pickup. I am in the process of disassembly. Having a list would save me some time when I order all new bolts.

I bought a kit from here it looks very complete. A little expensive but I think it is well worth it. Everything is bagged and labeled.
I think it is well worth the money considering the time and multiple trips a person would have to make to the local bolt store and getting the right lengths and washers and such.
The truck body parts should be back from the paint shop next week and the truck should start going back together very soon. So I then can give a better evaluation, but like I said the kit looks to be very complete.

Thanks Padresag and Kippnidaho. Yes, you may be right Kippin, re the stainless option. I may be a bit confused....the link goes to chevrolet trucks in general....I you specify 1966 Chevrolet Truck, then there is no option for a body bolt kit. It will be good to know if you have the bolts that you need. I was thinking of more of an original look for the bolts, though. May end up going with the stainless if I can't find a similar package of bolts non-stainless.

Does anyone know if the Assembly Manual contains a list of bolt sizes and threads? (Having a list would save a bit of time rather than measuring each bolt type.) It looks like original-looking bolts can be purchased through Fastenal.

they can also be purchased from allens fasteners,i have been really happy with them.you will need a sh*t ton of stainless flange head 5/16 x 18 x 3/4 for sure.i will try and get some other sizes for you as well......hope this helps..dan,they also have stainless flange head door bolts.dont forget stainless washers so you don't chew your paint.they also have stainless bumper bolts

some build books give the correct specs on nuts,bolts,washers and the like.
