Leafs vs coils

Hey everyone, new here, the names brandon. Just bought a 72 c10 with leaf springs in the rear, not what I wanted but the price was right. Was wondering if the frames are the same on the trailing arm rear end and leaf sprung rear ends? I want to put air ride in it, and thought putting trailing arms in it with the crossmember etc would be an easy and quick option to achieve my goal. Or are there any other options to swap to an air ride set up that's not an arm and a leg? I'm all ears and appreciate your input. Thanks guys!

The frames are different. Essentially the leaf frame is straight over the axle and the coil spring frame is kicked out wider to accommodate the coil springs

The frames are very similar.
In this thread the truck was converted from leaf to coils. It starts at post #70

Haha thanks randy500, and thanks for the info. And thanks classic, looks like I'm in a bit over my head with attempting this without much of a garage space. I guess it's an axle flip in my future to get it low...
