Shout out from a newbie
1 Attachment(s)
Kevin here. I just bought a "yard find" 67 GMC C25, bone stock, 305 V6, column shift, power nothing. Minor rust through on the fenders and a bit more than minor on the cab floors - but localized to the outboard foot areas. Everything else is original and pretty decent. Brakes were down to one rear working.. flex hoses were decayed to the point of failure. I snapped the brake line on the LF, trying to loosen the hose.. so, guess I'm paying for stupidity on that one. The heads are out at the hot-tank, along with the intake and the thermostat arch (?). Years old dried oil nastiness had to be dealt with. :flagw:

Nice find! I "hang out" in the 60 to 66 section, but I can relate to your brake line woes. After turning a few brake lines into pretzels on my 1961 GMC, trying to unscrew the nuts, I have just taken to cutting the lines with a dremel when removing.
