Possible New Truck - Tear it Up!

http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/5771159210.html

This looks like a decent deal but there are some things about it that are bothering me.

Bad rocker replacement
Bad Gas tank filler delete
Hole in the bed for replacement tank
Roll panels front and rear
Floor shifter
Radio

Can y'all take a look at this and tell me what you see please?

No matter how many of these trucks I see I never get tired of them. That looks like a good one too. I think 2600 is a little steep with the rust, but it's close.

I would be all over this truck , No bumpers ,but roll pans looks nice , no air cleaner No biggie there , No belts at all so who know if the water pump and charging system work .he said it needs power steering work , Got some nice hub caps there and all 4. Nice find I say go make a deal

None of the running gear, steering, suspension... mean anything at all to me. I'm just worried about whether the body is solid or not. I have a buddy that is probably going to look at it for me, I'm a ways away. Just wondering if there is anything about it that makes anybody here nervous.

I like the older grills, my expertise is Jeeps so I don't know the in and outs of these. Are the grills/front ends able to swap between years?

well then the odds are against you at that price I would bet at least 50% of the metal is bad or need repair, if all you are looking for is sheetmetal .I would spend my money on a solid cab that is for sale and start collecting all the other body pannels after I find a solid cab.you would be better of in the long run
