1961 GMC k1000 front upper shock mount
 

Need to replace upper shock mounts on 61 gmc k1000 (chevy k10). Can't find any oem or reproduction. Ideas on what to use?
One now was welded, one is broken off.

ck out my build. I used some for the rear of a jeep. worked out fine. there was a set on e-bay, don't know it they are still there.

Thanks. Great looking fix for the broken shock mount. I don't have a welder, but I can find someone who does.

How did you determine what shocks to use? It looks like it would need a longer shock.

they are only a little taller than stock. the part that's broke off yours would be close. not much travel in the front anyway.
