Wiring near the CAT

2 Attachment(s)
I understand the Catalytic Converter gets pretty hot.

I would like to run some heavy wiring the inside of the frame right next to it. Is this going to be a problem? Any suggestions? The wire is probably 300kcmil and will be run inside a loom of some kind.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
IM

Re: Wiring near the CAT

Put your wiring in heat or flame resistant wire loom. I used this on my wire for the temp sensor. It is so close to the headers, it was melting the wire. Haven't had a problem since.
