67-68 Grill moulding help needed.
Any tips or tricks installing the spring clips? I'm having a he'll of a time figuring out how to install them. Thanks

I can't remember the exact position, but once they are set in with the protruding wire in the groove, it will cam in and tighten to the hoop as the nuts are tightened.

I'll be completely honest... they're a pain in the ass and they don't like to move once in place. I held my grill hoops up to the grill and installed them as close to the correct location as possible so I only had to adjust them one at a time. I also installed one end and checked the fit of each new one as installed, so the next one was "easy" to figure out the correct spot instead of making 30 adjustments with them all in place.

Also be careful it is very easy to put dings in the surround by forcing the clips to seat or trying to slide them around. |

^And lay tape on your grille to protect the paint while lining up all the clips!

I tried reusing my old ones and ended up buying new ones to put in... it was much easier that way..
