Rear glass chrome trim

Ok i have the rubber moulding on the glass ready for install...ive you tubed to see about it but it just shows how to install the glass not the chrome locking strip... ive seen one vid for a vw windshield and he put it on before he installed the glass is that the same way on our rear glass? The chome trime came with two corner pieces so does that mean i have to cut the trim at the corners...? Help please

Yep, just what Finnegan did...

Only way I've installed them is once the glass and seal is already in the truck. It's not very difficult, you'll need an installation tool like this...

The chrome feeds through the tool like a thread through a needle.

Get a spray bottle with soapy water and lube it generously, helps it slide into place. Yes you'll have to cut the ends at the bottom corners. Just start at one end and work your way to the other.
