1982 Chevy C 70 king pin replacement 7,000 lb axle

Hello ,just wondering if anyone had any tips on getting the king pins out of of a 1982 Chevy king pin axle . It has a 7000 pound axle . I have it it jacked up with weight on the pin and have been pounding on it a long time.. I have been told not to heat it at all.. Any help at all is appreciated .. Swamp Rooster

When I swapped king pins on my 5000lb axle, I had it out of the truck and used a 30 ton press, there was a very satisfying bang when each let go. I love the instructions in the FSM "tap the pin out" :haha:
