2 1/2" full exhaust install on my '53. [long tube headers and MagnaFlow Mufflers]
We just finished up the exhaust on my '53. Ceramic long tube headers to an X pipe to MagnaFlow 11226 mufflers, with 2 1/2" tubes throughout. I'm super happy with how it turned out, and I'm even more excited to hear them bark once I start it up!

x-pipe adds around 25 horse , so you should be somewhere around 425 , should accelerate quickly

I am starting to think about my exhaust although I don't even have an engine yet.
That is really close to what I was planning. I have not used an x pipe before but like The looks of it. I think there could be advantages over an h pipe. Where are your hangars going? One after but not too far from the end of the long tubes, then one before muffle and one after, then tailpipes??? Good work! |

I haven't found a set of long tube headers that fit my 50 with MMII ifs. Which ones did you use?
