6.0 /4l65e swap. need help wiring VSS into 241
 

i have a 05 escalade drive train (6.0 lq9/4l65e) i am putting in my blazer with a 91 suburban np241. the harness i have made was from BP automotive and the connector is obviously incorrect. so do all i need to do is buy the 91 VSS plug and swap the pig tail? the wires on my harness are purple and green and the pigtail for the 91 burb is purple black. so im assuming match the purples up and the green to the black? thanks for help in advance

I made my pigtail to do what your trying to do. The plug at the T-case I got from Autozone, they called it a headlight plug and it had 6" of flying leads on it. The other plug you shoul be able to find in that same section of the store as well. I had a 01 silverado light harness laying around and one of those plugs fit the LS harness VSS plug perfect. Solder them together, use adheasive shrink tubing, and be sure to use a good cable protector or sheathing. The wires for the VSS are not polarized and can be wired either way.

THe light plug will plug into the LS Vss harness?

yep. i ordered the part and it plugs right in!
