Whining coming from the dash area 2003 pickup?!
 

Just like the title states I have a very annoying whine coming from up front sounds like right in the dash area. Mainly only when I am accelerating so I am guessing it's alternator noise or engine noise. Doesn't happen when idling or when I am braking or slowing down and not on the gas. I have been installing aftermarket stereos in all my rigs for almost 13 years now never had this before. My question is does this seem like a ground issue in the engine compartment or do I need to look into getting some sort of noise filter. Truck is a 2003 Chevy 1500 HD crew the only stock part of the system is the door speakers. I installed it all about 2 months ago and it starting happening shortly after. Any input or feed back is greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
