Rear sisc conversions
 

My boss is wanting a rear disc conversion for his 75 k10, does anyone have a recommendation for a bolt on kit, it has the 12 bolt rear.

For my 78 C10 (12 bolt), I am using the kit from the Right Stuff. Bought through Summit Racing.

The one we are trying to fit is a 4x4

The rear ends are different between a 2 and 4wd? That's a new one to me. Always thought it was just a length thing.

The lug pattern is different a 2wd is 5 lug the 4x4 is 6 lug for a 1/2 ton.

So basically we are saying the 6 lug 2wd rear disc conversion kit would also fit the 4x4 rear axle ?

I guess so but thats if the mounting part on the axle housing is the same and its probably not.Or figure out what disc the kit uses see if its offered in a 6 lug or if its offered in a blank and have it drilled for a 6 lug.
