48 Chopped...What did I Do?!

Picked this up today. Not sure what way I want to go with the build yet. Thinking 5.3/6.0 on air ride. May have got in over my head lol

Welcome Thavens. Well, I can't see the pics but good luck which ever way you go with the build.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here willing to share ideas and advice.

Welcome Thavens!

Everyone here is pretty cool and a lot of guys REALLY have skills. The best part is they're non judgmental and don't mind sharing their knowledge.

If you're uncertain what you can/should do I recommend looking through a LOT of other guy's builds.

My $.02 is you're only in "over your head" if you decide you are and you aren't willing to learn and to try. Just be realistic about the available time and money you have for it and if it's not enough to do what you want it doesn't mean you can't do anything. Do it in stages and keep it running so you won't feel overwhelmed and give up on it.

Best of luck and Happy Holidays! -Dan

Welcome, that's a nice looking chop from what I can see of it and some nice work in it.

It looks like they stretched the top which makes it a lot easier to put glass in it from some respects and less fitting and fighting with trim pieces than the way mine is chopped.
