OK sometthing has to happen in Vegas in order for it to stay here!.
Dropped my load of wire a day early, now I'm sitting in North Las Vegas with nothing to do. Anything interesting here to go see pertaining to 60-66? 48ft of empty step deck and no cash.

Found a 62 Chevy cab BBW custom appearance option just off Losee in North Las Vegas, beside a body shop. The owner says he has more trucks out in Arizona.
Route 66 -builders- is the name of the place. Friendly people. 702-210-9034. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/tv...g=w787-h590-no |

If you want to 'tour' around a little bit, the stretch of US 93 between Boulder City and Kingman, AZ has a lot of interesting old car/truck stuff... old junk yards and stuff.

Went to see LVPhotos 62 last night. Nice truck, lot's of work done. It was raining so we didn't get to go for a drive. He did however take the time to bring me to Tuckers, Atomic Motors and such. Thank you Chad for the tour.
I've seen this ad on Craigslist for a 63 C20 that has a Cool Pack and BBW in it located in Las Vegas. Hope to go see it before I leave. https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/5921322831.html https://images.craigslist.org/00i0i_...yI_600x450.jpg |
Re: OK sometthing has to happen in Vegas in order for it to stay here!.
Went to see the 63 C20 yesterday. Only 7 miles from the truck stop. The Cool Pack has a grey housing. The engine is a 455 Olds with A/C compressor. The condenser is not original. The dryer is aftermarket.
Nicest cab I've ever seen, but, as it once was attached to a camper unit there are 50+ rivets where snaps used to go around the interior of the Big Back Window cab to attach a vinyl peak through. No glass in the opening presently. The seat is the red vinyl with fabric. dirty but nice. Recirculating heater dual sun visors without fawn covers. Wrong rear view mirror and arm. Standard gauges that were drilled and aftermarket installed. An Aftermarket vacuum gauge that is bullet shaped like a dash clock. Aftermarket Tach. Standard steering wheel. No power brakes or power assist steering. Aftermarket helper springs in the rear. The bottom of the doors almost made me faint their so clean. The owner and his brother have had and bought and sold many over the years. Nice guys. We spent a few hours talking trucks. |

It was a fluke that I was sent to Vegas. This is not a regular run for us. If you post a new thread, there is some guy who hauls reasonably. As a Canadian, I am not permitted to haul a load from one state to another. We have to find an American load headed to Canada.
OK, what kind of car is in the enclosed trailer? |
