1966 Automatic Column - Finished Product

3 Attachment(s)
Pictures of my 66 automatic column after assembly, still need to find a nice shift lever as the ones I have are rusty.

If I can find a horn I want to use my 65 custom wheel, instead of the 66 custom wheel I have.

Nicely done! I have a couple Auto's I'd like to rebuild like that.

Thanks guys, I posted some pictures of the top pieces coming apart and have more of the entire disassembly if anyone wants them.

If you rebuild one do yourself a favor and buy the Napa D6202, American Autowire or the more expensive Classic Truck parts turn signal assembly. (I believe they have two listed)

Nice job looks good. How rusty is your shift lever? I've had some pretty good success using fine steel wool and WD-40. Might get you by till you find a replacement.

Any chance you have pictures of what holds the steering rod centered? Mine is has alot of play up, down, right and left and im wondering if theres a bearing inside that went bad.
