Building a chassis and was wondering if anyone makes and sells nice cab mounts?

If your building your own chassis why not just fab yourself up a set..

just fab up a set from square tubing of the correct size. slice and dice. if you're building a chassis the body mounts should be a piece of cake.

A side mount motor mount kit for a 6 cyl. may work for you. Chassis Engineering has a ton of different motor mount and chassis components.

the fab your own idea using tubing is probably the most practical $$ wise.

You could design your own an have a metal fab shop cut the out and put the bends in but the minimum labor charge would probably run the cost up.

just grab some square tubing of the proper size
mark it out for pattern. use masking tape and a new sharpie pen or a pencil to layout the pattern
cut the pattern with a zip disc on a mini grinder on the outside of the pattern so you have room to clean it up nice. you will get a nice edge and pretty accurate.tidy up with a disc grinder to the pattern edge,
for the bent mounting tabs, just cut on the back side where the bend will be, 1/2 way through the material (I know, always cut on the inside of a bend, but the outside can be welded after and it won't be seen in this case) or make cuts all the way through in 1 inch intervals, or whatever you decide, to make bending easier
bend the tabs
weld the relief cuts
drill the holes for the frame mounts and cab mount
bingo bango. Bob's your uncle. instant cab mounts. money still in pocket, mostly.

have you thought about using cab mounts from a newer vehicle or possibly urethane aftermarket mounts? you would have to use them under the rad support as well, but, you may have a quieter ride when done. the ride height would be affected and you may have to fab the front mounts and possibly rad support mounts to make up for the difference in height compared to the steel on steel from the factory or the squishy rubber mounts.

do you have a frame bench or will you be fabbing a frame bench? do you have a digital level and/or digital angle finder to help you?
