12 bolt axles
 

I have a 12 bolt open dif w/ 3.08 gears, thinking of getting a salvaged 12 w/ 3.73. my question is if I can only find 6 lug can I swap in my five lug axles ? and does it matter if its 2wd or 4wd? thanks for reading hope someones been here before
