that kinda looks like a chevelle but its a buick? what buick? i think its a chevelle

Canadian694x4 10-16-2003 12:07 AM

Dinnut...if you consider Bondo sheetmetal then yes it's good...:D I'm sure it can't be too bad but they definitely used bucket's 'o bondo. It was on the road until recently so the cab might make a better starting point for a resto...I think they pulled the engine for one reason or the other. Not many of these trucks around here that I find have enignes in them...

In my other thread plus this one most trucks tended to be GMC's it would make you think in Canada they only made GMC's. Unfortunately I think it's just a case of Chevy's being more desireable to restore and hide in garages rather then rotting in a feild. Poor GMC's I like 'em all but what can ya do? :(

Whatever it is, its a 69...no small rectangular wrap around tail lights...those were on the 68's.

Hey Brian:

Was there much worth salvaging? You're not that far from me it might be worth zipping up for a look. I was going to do some looting at the local yard where the guy has two old chevs tomorrow, if he's around, but they're pretty beat.

Did you talk to the owner about prices on parts? (must control urge to buy, gahhhhh! )

Ron
