454 short block
 

I have a 454 short block for sale. You can see casting #'s in the pics. Local pickup only. Not frozen. Comes with the oil pan, valve covers and a oil pump. $350. Forum rules apply. I can through in the engine stand and an original cast iron intake manifold if I can find it in the scrap pile!

i recently sold a 2-bolt 454 core and i can say two things: 1. it took a long time to sell (several months), and 2. everyone wanted a "running " engine for nothing. i ended up selling the long block for $400, but that included a good set of 781 heads (at least half the value).

me too, I just bought a 396 short block that needs a rebuild for 400

I'll run the add for a little while. If it doesn't sell, Ill just add it to the scrap pile and recycle it.
