Re: 52 Chevy Tailpan
Had some pm's asking how we did the "J" detail for the bumper seal..
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y16...p/IMG_2496.jpg I missed getting some of the pictures of the dies, so had to go back afterwards... These are all the dies used, I had three different lower dies to progressively fold the sides in. The location is set by using a backstop on the first pass, or the die show on the right.. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y16...p/IMG_2517.jpg This is the final die shown with a sample run... http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y16...p/IMG_2487.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y16...p/IMG_2488.jpg |

Re: 52 Chevy Tailpan
We don't always get to see pictures of most of the smaller fabrications we do after the owner installs them, so when we do, I like to share them. So here's a pic I just got of this tail pan we did last February.

Re: 52 Chevy Tailpan
As stated above," Magic"...bead detail looks awesome....A friends quote when we were building our house, "what we do you can't buy off the shelf". That apply's here big time.
