Mine is 3 ⅛" down if I were to hook where the fender rolls flat at the cowl gap. 2 ¾" hook the door gap to edge.

+1 on nail pounder taking the time to help a fellow '66 C20 guy out!
The body guy wasn't sure what holes I wanted welded closed and which ones I wanted to keep open. He didn't want to leave any open, so he erred on the side of caution.
I'm about to get some C20 emblems cast and I needed to know exactly where they go.
Now I know!
