Console for Speakers

Thinking about other options for speakers besides kick panels. No room behind/under seats and not interested in cutting or drilling. Does anyone have a custom console that house speakers? Need some inspiration!

No pics but I made a custom center stack (just under the dash no console) for my old 1971 dart. Simple 3 sided deal that fit under the dash to hold a modern radio on the front and a speaker on each side. Covered it with black vinyl from local craft store to match the black vinyl interior.

I might do something similar for the c10 as well, depends on what I decide on for a radio. Would like to stay with a stack instead of a console extending to the seat but maybe integrate cup holders into the bottom of the stack. Maybe some switches at the top of the stack if needed.

I made a three-sided box, that goes under the dash, that covers the heater box. I mounted a 6 inch round speaker on each side.
I first cut out a cardboard pattern, transferred it to thin plywood, cut it out, assembled it, and then covered it with vinyl that matches my interior.
I built it about 20 years ago and made it with enough room for newer audio equipment, but still haven't yet.

I made this in about an hour a while back using scrap wood I had laying around the shop. Use black epoxy/appliance paint after a little sanding/rounding/putty. Went to the junkyard and got some drop-in cupholders and storage tray - then wired up accessory power to a wireless charging pad under the tray. Works great, functional and cost less than $20 including the junkyard scraps and wireless charging pad. Has a pair of 6x9 in it one on each side.

Awesome! Thanks y'all, great ideas. Jack_71C10 thanks for the link, might have to go that direction. Will post some pics when I get something installed.
