Just pulled from a 72 gmc 1/2 ton burb. Been sitting since 91. The engine does NOT turn over but still has oil in it. 3999290 and date looks like E 15 72. Will sell as 2 options.
Option 1 is complete as seen with the 72 only mounts and alt brackets, power steering set up and trans. smog, etc... $1000
Option 2 is a long block and trans for $400. (no accessories, intake to pan, water pump to trans is it)
No shipping and not parting out.
Located in northern MN.

they use the same spacer, but the tube is different.

I have plenty of air cleaners. I need the spacer tube, heat shield and heat pipe.

A guy showed up and had to have the engine, but nothing else would work for his application. Therefore the smog stuff is up for grabs. The pump does turn over. Still has the tower clamps on it. Randy500 asked first and 67kid can be up second. I may be away from the computer for a few days...
$300 plus shipping.

Ok, I think I'm in can you give me 24hrs to decide and shipping quote to 98409?

Do you have the bolt with stud on the end where the adjusting bracket connects to the water pump?

I never thought about it before but I guess the ex manifolds are included since they have smog holes...
I guess 2 spark plug heat shields are missing?

Think it over, as I will be gone for a few days. I don't think I pulled the stud. I had about an hour to strip it down before the guy showed up and it got dark out...
The manifolds are included... I didn't even try any of the tubes. I did soak them for a few days. Pretty much what is pictured and the pump does turn.

Something you want? I will have to find a way to ship without damage. I would guess shipping around $80, but that is a guess.

I will offer $125 shipped for the pump with the attached hoses. Should fit in a large flat rate box.

That's a very good price for the smog parts. The water pump pulleys are different for the smog pump. Might want to see if the buyer wants them.

That engine in non A/C and has the standard double row water pump pulley that most have, which runs the SMOG pump. The pulley for A/C has a 3rd row pulley on the water pump which is smaller in diameter. The SMOG pump pulley sits out further too with A/C.

figures.....the engine is gone, just found out my 402 is cracked and I am finally close
