Hey Fred, what's the heat stove do? I've heard of them before, never took the time to learn their purpose. Is it to heat the air going into the carb?

Hey Joe. Yes, it wraps around the exhaust manifold and the metal heat riser tube goes from the outlet on it to the inlet on the underside of the air cleaner snorkel. They usually get tossed the first time an exhaust manifold gets changed or when headers are installed.
