I dont know how close you are to Norwood but you are welcome to use it anytime.
Man, i need to get my 4 car done so I can use my 24 x 30 for my shop. and then a slab and a lift.....
Looking good so far...........what size is it?
I'm in the process right now of putting up a 1200 square foot pole bar shop with the floor when they are done. But then comes the wiring, insulation, and sheet rock. Firgure maybe next summer before I get done. |
Gravel is a pain to work on...especially when you drop a small part
Gravel? You guys are lucky, I got grass turned into mud to work on.
A man and his garage, nothing like it, looking good purple slam, I can't put one in until we get sewer in the area, cause were mine is going to go is were my feild is right now, man that will be one expensive garage 10 grand for sewer then probably 10 or 15 grand for the garage.buster wivell pretty hard to feel sorry for you man, LOL I only wish I had a 24x30 shop let alone a 4 car garage, just pulling your leg, all the power to ya
Thanks for the offer Purpleslammed69, I had a nice garage till I got divorced :( Gee_Emm working in grass is bad too. Gravel is a killer on me at 56 years old.
looking good i guess the gravel will have to work for me a while longer lol for you guys/gals working on gravel i use a big piece of carpet roll it up and put it back in building when im thru
Casey... actually everyone..........I am going to get some estimates on building a garage next spring is 10-15 grand a good estimate for a garage keeping in mind that its not enormous or a taj mahal type garage but a decent working size so that once the truck is inside the doors can be opened and still have a little room to work and lets see some more of your garages they really are great to see how everyone has there garages setup.:bowtie:
One of the guys at the shop here just had a 26' x 28' garage with 10' walls built for $15,000. That includes everything except wiring and insulation. M
Dubie,
Mine is under construction right now. 20' x 60' with 10' walls for $16,100.00 Which includes the 4500 lb concrete floor............. I have to wire, insulate, and sheetrock.... But that way I get it my way. |
Just got my concrete pured today. 1770 Sq Ft. $8700. It is roughly 32 x 52. I am very excited to see it go in. I may have to recover from the expense for a month or two before I start framing, as it was $3000 over the initial estimate(don't ask).
Should have it done in January sometime. I'll need it so I can start fixing my '67 back up after her wreck. I still havn't heard from the body shop about an estimate or from the insurance co and it's been 3 weeks. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep driving thier 2004 4x4 crew cab pick up for free! |
Now that's a good size shop.....how many toys will fit.....?
If you are interested in a metal building, I am currently helping a friend put a 30x30 built by Mueller. You can check them out a mueller.com. Its a real well built building, I think it ran him around $6000 with a 10x8 roll up, insulation and a 3ft walk door. Mine is a 30x40 built by whirlwind.com. Have about $11,000 in it total. It has 2 10x10 garage doors total insulation and a 3ft walkdoor. Have a central air unit that I hope to have put in by next year.
I thought I could get my garage done for under 20k. lol,man was I off! It's done now but I quit countin' at 30k.
Oh yea, the 11,000 on my building was with me doing all the work except finishing the concrete, which cost me around $300. My Dad and I will be building him one next year and we will probably go with a 30x30 Mueller building. The only thing I wish I would have done different on mine was the roof pitch. My roof is a 1:12, wish I would have gotten a 3:12, to me it just makes the building look better.
Sorry the site for Mueller buildings is muellerinc.com. Don`t know how you guys feel about metal buildings, but I love mine.
Thanks for the correction.....
I think any garage is good as long as you have some tunes and a fridge to cool the beer. Oh, and a good pin up calendar. ha ha
I've got cable, plus the frig and tunes
Don't forget the tube, I watch nascar while I'm working..........
No cable where I`m at, have satellite, fridge and tunes. The TV is hooked to the satellite box in my house, so I usually wind up watching sponge bob or rugrats or whatever it is my 4 yr old is watching at the time.
