I put Ford steel rims on my truck... Aghhh!!!
5 Attachment(s)
New wheels are done. Went with ford rims because they stick out further than the gm ones. 275/85/16 tires, ford 8 lugs powder coated black, 90s gm beauty rings, conversion lug nuts with exterior threads, 90s chrome center caps and had to use the 2000s black plastic lug covers since they're a little longer. The 90s ones just barely caught any of the lug threads. :waah:
Last pic is where I started... don't mind the rust... Hope you guys enjoy! |

if it makes you feel any better my 20 was to get dodge rims on it until I realized the dodge beauty rings would work on my steel rims so I just did that and used my basic hubcaps

I do like the way they line up in the wheel well.

Probably the only ford part that'll go on it tho. The only Chrysler part that'll go on the truck is the Jeep steering shaft when I get around to it hopefully this summer. |

Nothing wrong with that I would never own up to putting ford parts on any of my trucks just saying haha. It looks great though I like the stance and how well they line up when looking down the side of the truck.

The Ford 80's to 90's van rims are great. They look just like GM wheels and take the GM dog dish hubcaps, but are 7" wide instead of the 6.5" wide GM wheels. They work better if you want to run wider tires.
