POL disk brake kit questions

1 Attachment(s)
So I bought the Performance online 8 lug disk brake kit and was wanting to confirm if the kit is supposed to come with a bracket that is supposed to mount between the booster and firewall? The other question is that it came with a whole assembly on the back side mounted to the booster, looks like it is the brake pedal bracket but one thing I did notice is that there is not a mounting spot for the brake light switch??? Any help would be awesome

The brake light switch is mounted on the steering column bracket under the dash.

So would you happen to know if the bracket on the back side of the booster mounts on the outside of the fire wall? It seems odd to me for it to stick out that far from the firewall but my truck only had manual brakes on it before this

Yes the bracket will bolt up to the fire wall after you remove original MC. The threaded rod will go through the fire wall, don't forget to put the fire wall rubber boot on first, and you will use the clevis and original shoulder bolt to fasten that threaded rod to your brake pedal. Adjust the clevis so it lines up with the hole in the brake pedal when the pedal is against the rubber pedal stop. I don't have a pic of the under dash connection maybe some one else can chime in to help you there.

Ok thank you, I was kinda confused. When you did yours, did you get 2 sets of tie rod ends with your kit?

I used the same kit. You get 2 inner and 2 outer tie rods.

How is the kit from CPP on quality? Is it good?

Re: POL disk brake kit questions

I have the same CPP booster/master cylinder combo... I bet it's safe to say we have the exact same kits just one is badged as a POL and the other is badged as a CPP. I am overall happy with it and it works well.
