2005 yukon
 

rear hatch door latches are locked . hatch door is not closed . it will not close all the way because the latches are closed . They won't unlatch with the key fob or the switch on the door . I have also tried prying down with no luck . checked the ecm fuse under the access panel .. any ideas ? thank you

did you figure this out? probably they are just LATCHED? stick a screw driver in the mechanism on the door and open with the handle while pulling on the screwdriver? kinda like emulating the body side of the latch and opening like normal.

curious to see if you got it handled.

yes I did . Thank you . The next day during day light I found I needed to pull down on the right side of the latch . In the dark I was pulling the hand and prying on the left side of the mechanism . thanks again
