I have 1999 Tahoe with the 350 and 4L60 trans. Its a Z56 Police Package Tahoe ( pictured ) and I've heard folks talk about a "Super Tune" on these vehicles. There is local guy that is doing Super Tunes on vehicles and says he can really enhance my truck with theSuperTune.he said something about re-programing the PCM, whatever that is, and that this Super Tune only needs to be once. He wants pretty good money to do it. Anyone familiar with this concept of Super Tune?

The PCM is the computer in the truck that controls the engine and other things. There are a number of folks that do "Super Tunes" and yes it can enhance the performance - usually with a reduction in mileage.
