1987 blazer grille replacement
Hey guy, quick question. What's the best way to install the grille on this thing? This is a brand new replacement grill so warping shouldn't be an issue. I've taken out the headlight buckets, so the path to where it goes is clear. But I swear I've turned and twisted this thing six ways from Sunday but it won't fit. Looks like it's about a quarter inch too tall. Is this a common thing for replacement grills to be ill fitting, or am I just not doing it right?

Re: 1987 blazer grille replacement
Pull a tape, hole to hole on the grille and mounting points. Just to check. I wouldn't expect it to be off enough to matter, but it doesn't hurt to verify. I can't remember the trick to it though, I don't think I've ever had one fight me. Can you not drop the bottom in low as possible then lean the top in?

Tipping the top in and then working the bottom in is what I ended up doing. I got it and it looks good. But dang i was scared i was gonna break it the whole time.
