?Jet performance carburetors

Anyone here have any expirience with their stage 2 quadrajets? They are sulposed to have all the modifications to correct the common quadrajet issues. I have one from National carburetors but not happy with the way it is running, bogs down and I have a hard time starting when hot or when it has sat for more than a couple days, also seems to flood wgen hot. It worked perfect the first couple weeks I had it. It is either this or an edelbrock.

I don't have experience with JET I do have experience with Quadrajet Power out of Texas. They will build you a carb exactly for your application for about $250 if you send them a core. I have one on my wife's 455 Firebird works great.

Do you have a spacer under it ? Or a hear shield

No spacer, just sits on a stock manifold.

No spacer but it does have a nice thick heat shield or gasket that it came with. Im pretty sure its flooding because I can smell the fuel. National carbs has good prices but, they just reman their carbs. No mods to improve the more common issues.

I used one on a 454 in a 70 chevelle years ago. Was set up perfect from the factory and didn't even make an adjustment and it ran perfectly for 2 years with no problems before I sold the car. I got mine from summit.
